RAISING OUR GAME
There’s a tiny part in all
of us that wants to be the best,
But it takes
determination.....oh, to put yourself to the test,
To climb the highest
mountain, to swim the widest sea,
If we summon up the
courage, we can be the best that we can be.
We’ll take each
opportunity to make each day our best,
We’ll strive to be the
better man and inspire all the rest,
From the smallest little
acorns the biggest oak trees grow,
We are learning all life’s
lessons; there is so much we need to know.
Even though you’re small,
if you walk tall and hold your head up high,
There’s a million
different things you can achieve,
Just take that chance and
seize the day, you’ll make it if you try,
We are standing right
behind you, cheering for you, just believe ..... that.
Dreams are made for
chasing, catch that falling star,
Try and try and try again
to succeed and you’ll go far,
Don’t just settle for
second best, first should be your aim,
When at school, our golden
rule is to strive to raise our game, (to repeat)
