Date of 2011 Open Weekend Confirmed

It has been confirmed that Open Weekend in 2011 will take place on the weekend of 22nd - 24th July.

Now in its fourth year, Open Weekend in 2011 follows the success of the past three years, in which over a million people across the UK took part in a series of sporting, art and cultural activities.

Last year during Open Weekend over 50,000 people in the West Midlands took part in a wide range of events, from learning dance steps to becoming an archaeologist for the day. This year’s Open Weekend promises to be the biggest yet, as it will celebrate the one year countdown to the start of the Olympic Games

Organisations that are interested in registering an event will be able to so here from the end of February.
