Baby & Toddler Group helped - your group could be
next
A grant-finding service that helped a baby and
toddler group in Great Witley to secure £2,000 is encouraging other
community groups to get in touch.
The Worcestershire Partnership's Funding and
Resources Manager helped the Great Witley Baby and Toddler Group to
make a successful bid for a Co-operative grant by identifying
appropriate funding opportunities and assisting with the
application process.
The Chair of the group says the grant will
help to secure the long term future of the vital local community
service.
Like the Great Witley Baby and Toddler Group,
all kinds of community groups and social enterprises can get in
touch with the Worcestershire Partnership Funding Desk for help
with finding and applying for grants. A free online search facility
helps organisations to know what's available, while a professional
advisor can help with bids for funding from the Government, the
Lottery and many other sources.

Resources Manager for the Worcestershire Partnership,

we were successful in securing a grant of £2,000 from the
Co-operative. This amount will be sufficient for the group to
sustain its activities for the next three to four years. I'd

Great Witley Baby and Toddler Group is based
at Great Witley Village Hall, Worcester Road, and offers a toys and
activities for babies and pre-school children and their
parents/carers. The Group meets on Wednesday mornings during term
time and all are welcome. Puppet shows, soft play, music with Mini
Maestros and Jo Jingles and the Borrowers toy library are some of
the activities on offer. The Group also provides a wide range
of toys, arts and crafts and cookery sessions. To contact Great
