Local Area Agreement

A Local Area Agreement is a three-year agreement that sets out the priorities for a local area.  It is negotiated with Government, represented by Government Office West Midlands, and a local area, represented by local authorities and their partners working through the Worcestershire Partnership.

Worcestershire's LAA 2008 - 2011 has been through its first annual refresh and was approved by the Secretary of State in April 2009:

Worcestershire's second Local Area Agreement covers the period 2008 - 2011 and was signed by Hazel Blears, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, at the end of June 2008:
