Community cohesion strategy almost complete

Community cohesion is an important national issue and locally the Worcestershire Partnership has been working with the Institute of Community Cohesion (iCoCo) to develop a draft strategy, actions and a toolkit for the county.

Community cohesion is essentially about how well different people get along with each other in the areas where they live.

Local research has shown that lots of work is already contributing to cohesion in Worcestershire. This project, therefore, builds on existing activity rather than being something separate. A practical toolkit will be available to enable partner organisations to consider cohesion in the planning process.

Partner organisations will be kept updated and the draft strategy and toolkit will be widely available.
