Taxis

Taxis are generally more expensive than buses or trains, and often wait in taxi ranks outside stations or in town centres.

Alternatively, you can telephone a local taxi company to book a journey, or to ask a taxi to collect you straightaway. Taxis are not allowed to drive around looking for customers, and they should all be licensed.
