Worcestershire Assembly Join us at the 2008 Worcestershire Assembly The 2008 Worcestershire Assembly takes place on Thursday, 6 November at Worcester Racecourse. This year's event will explore the opportunities that the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics could offer Worcestershire, particularly in the areas of culture, sport, health, business, volunteering and tourism. We are delighted to have as our keynote speaker world record holder and former Olympian David Moorcroft OBE. The programme will also celebrate all aspects of the Olympic vision.
