The Pump House Environment Centre is situated at the far end of Gheluvelt park extension, on the banks of the River Severn and on Waterworks Road. As an Environment Centre and with limited parking at the Pump House,
 we encourage people travelling to the centre to car share, use of public transport and, if travelling locally, to walk or cycle.
\par }{\b\f1 Walking:}{\f1  You can walk from Worcester city centre along Pitchcroft to Waterworks Road, or up the Barbourne Road and then through Gheluvelt park. This will take approx 30 minutes from the city centre.
\par }{\b\f1 Cycling:}{\f1  There is a cycle way from Pitchcroft car park, along the edge of the racecourse all the way to the Pump House Environment Centre. It pops out in the car park opposite the cen
tre. There is also a cycle path from the North, crossing the park (and passing the centre) from Tower Road to Waterworks Road

erminster. At the next roundabout take the A449 Ombersley Road sign posted towards Worcester City. Continue down this road for approx. 1.5 miles until you join the Barbourne Road. After Gheluvelt Park, situated on your right, take the second right turn in

o Somers Road. Follow Somers Road for 100m and take left turn into Pitchcroft Lane. At T-junction turn Right into Pope Iron Road passed industrial units on your left.  At the next T-junction turn left and you will immediately come to a large Victorian red
