The Funding Desk is a dedicated resource committed to providing organisations in Worcestershire with relevant, useful and accurate information on external funding streams (funding through trusts and grant-giving organisations).

The services provided by the Funding Desk have been specifically designed and tailored to assist organisations who in some way support the delivery of Worcestershire’s Local Area Agreement. These services include:

• A free online funding search facility, detailing information on 1000’s of funding streams available to organisations in Worcestershire.

• A list of all government funding available to community and voluntary organisations in Worcestershire

• A list of all Lottery funding available to community and voluntary organisations in Worcestershire

• Toolkits designed to help organisations complete their applications forms

• Information on government funding

• Information on Lottery funding

• Information on trust funding

• A jargon made easy tool

• An e-forum to promote best practice, create awareness or request project partnerships

• Access surgeries where one on one support can be offered to
  • Map appropriate funding streams;
  • Develop project ideas designed to attract funders;
  • Proof read applications;
  • Liaise between the funding body and the organisation in developing an application for funding.
