Between now and 2012 it is estimated that £25 billion worth of tenders will become available as a result of the Games and related projects. This creates an opportunity to showcase technology and innovation in the region.
- There will be between 800,000 and 2 million contracts
- The vast majority of contracts will be awarded from mid-2007 onwards

- Register now on the London 2012 website so that you are directed to the new website once it is up and running.
- Prepare now – as soon as Beijing is over, suppliers with experience of those Games will be in direct competition.

- Sydney became the preferred choice for international business events with international visitor numbers swelling by 78%.
Latest Information
- The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) has just published a new ‘Supplier Guide’. The straightforward guide sets out how the ODA will buy and manage up to 2,000 direct contracts with businesses who will in turn manage up to 50,000 agreements across their own supply chains.
- Later in 2007 a service will be launched to help small and medium sized companies identify opportunities in these supply chains which are likely to come on stream in 2008.
