Information for potential volunteers
- Recruitment for Games volunteers won't start until 2010
- Registration is open now – this is not a commitment, it is simply a way to be kept informed of developments in the London 2012 Volunteer Programme via the regular supporters newsletter and volunteer-specific messages.
- Recruitment and selection of volunteers for the 2012 Games will not be on a first come, first served basis. Instead, volunteers will be selected for a number of reasons including their individual skills and especially their volunteering experience.
- To maximise the potential to be selected for a 2012 volunteer role it is a good idea for volunteers to support local activities.
- A list of local 2012 (related) volunteering opportunities will appear on this page in due course
